Went swimming in Lake St Clair in Michigan with family and friends. I took the metal detector along to play around with as we were in a swimming area that has been used as such for over 60 years. Found plenty of bottle tops, a few spent shotgun shells and even a lead bullet. Then came the ring. No one was laughing at me at that point. Jeweler appraised it at $750.00, retail.
